Jefferson Student Council and several other groups invited the entire district to wear purple in support of the 2025 Walk to End Alzheimer’s happening this Saturday morning at Central Park!
Thanks to everyone’s generosity, $1,307.37 was raised for Alzheimer’s awareness and support! We are incredibly proud of our students and staff!

📣 ANNOUNCEMENT: Lowe’s Hometown Heroes Project Coming to AHS!
We’re excited to share that Lowe’s Hometown Heroes program has selected Ardmore High School for a special community project!
On Saturday, October 25th (7 AM – 4 PM), Lowe’s red vest associates will join volunteers from AHS & AMS baseball teams, families, and alumni to complete several major upgrades at the AHS Baseball Field.
Planned improvements include:
⚾ Residing the concession stand
💡 Replacing lights
🪑 Building new dugout benches
🎨 Painting and freshening up
🏠 Adding awnings and a plow wall
💧 Donating supplies for both the baseball and softball fields
This project—valued at nearly $5,000 in materials—is part of Lowe’s commitment to revitalizing spaces that bring communities together.

Calling all Pre-K through 6th grade girls! Join us for the Tigerettes Pom Clinic -TOMORROW- Sunday, October 12, 2025, from 2:00–4:00 PM (registration opens at 1:30) in the AHS Multi-Purpose/Basketball Gymnasium.
Dancers will learn fun routines and perform at the Tigerettes Lasagna Dinner and during halftime of the AHS football game on Thursday, October 16!
💲 Cost: $45 per dancer
Includes a t-shirt, poms to keep, a snack, a photo with Top Cat, and admission to the football game!

We are extremely proud of our Jefferson STUCO and students for making this such a successful and memorable event — and a huge shoutout to Mrs. Pierce for making it all happen for our entire school!
To top it all off, every Jefferson Elementary student got a high five from AG Drummond on their way out! HOW AMAZING IS THAT?
