Our talented students have been hard at work preparing for their upcoming musical, “How to Be a Pirate in Seven Easy Songs.” They've been learning songs, practicing choreography, rehearsing speaking parts, creating artwork, and even building the set! 🎟️ Join us for the big performance on Tuesday, June 24th at 6:00 p.m. at the Performing Arts Center. 🚨 Bleeding Control Kits in Every Classroom 🚨 Thanks to the initiative of teacher Barbara Cornelius and SRO Cpl. Dylan Davis following Active Shooter Training, Ardmore City Schools is taking proactive steps to keep our students and staff safe. Uncontrolled bleeding is the #1 preventable cause of death in trauma situations. That’s why all ACS staff have been trained by our School Resource Officer in bleeding control—and now, every classroom across the district is equipped with a Bleeding Control Kit, along with additional stations placed strategically in hallways. 🩸 Each kit includes: ✔️ Tourniquets ✔️ Chest seals ✔️ Gauze & wraps ✔️ Gloves ✔️ Emergency blanket ✔️ Shears, markers & instructions These kits are not meant to alarm but to empower—ensuring our staff is prepared to save lives in the event of an emergency.
