Lincoln News!

Lincoln students received their certificate for placing in the Red Ribbon Week Poster Contest at Awards Ceremony held at the Oklahoma Sports Hall of Fame. Bentley Mack from Lincoln placed first in the 5-7 age group. Alivea Pettigrew placed 1st in the 8-10 age group and Ella Ren Matlack (not picture) placed 2nd in the 8-10 age group.

AHS Girls Tennis News!

Girls Tennis Regionals was yesterday at Heritage Hall in OKC. The entire girls tennis team qualified for the State Tournament this Friday and Saturday. 1 Singles Lizette Corona finished 4th. 2 Singles Maliya Metzger finished 3rd. 1 Doubles Lizbeth Corona and Madison Tellez finished 3rd. 2 Doubles Makila Case and Makalia Barber finished 2nd. Way to go Lady Tigers!!!

Tiger Softball News!

On April 30th at the KXII and Chevy Dealer A+ Athlete Banquet, Lexi Duff was awarded the Female A+ Athlete of the Year. She was selected out of a group of female athletes from all over the Southern Oklahoma and North Texas Area. Lexi, was awarded over $3,000 in Scholarship Funds by winning this award. Lexi will be continuing her Athletics and Academics at Oklahoma Baptist University this Fall. Congrats again, to Lexi Duff.

Retired Charles Evans and ACS teacher, Janice (Warthen) Shockley, is still making Charles Evans a wonderful and unique place for kids! Mrs. Shockley arranged for Jin Nakashima from Noble Research and his wife, Kanoco, to come share information with Charles Evans student, Bobby Thompson. Bobby was very interested in learning more about his heritage and other information about Japan.
