Will Rogers is home to over 500 students under the age of six. Our school is unique in so many ways. Offering a variety of services to the community including: Kindergarten, 4 year olds, Head Start, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Speech Therapy, a full time Counselor, a Kindergarten PE teacher, Library Media Specialist, Title I teacher and a Literacy Resource Specialist. The services provided are just a part of what make our school unique. We also have a faculty and staff truly dedicated to the care and education of your children. You will find that many of the changes this year are directly related to improving instruction and safety for all of the children at Will Rogers.
We ask for your understanding and cooperation when transporting your children to and from school. For school safety it is necessary to ask all Kindergarten parents to wait until 3:20 to pick up your students (our school day is from 8:10-3:20). We have found it easier to bring the Kindergarten students to the front of the school for parent pick up than to allow parents to go to their classes. If it is necessary to pick up your child early in an emergency, you must sign into the office (get a visitor sticker) and let the secretaries know that you have come to pick up your child. Students will then be brought to the office. Pre-Kindergarten students must be signed out of their classroom; they will not be released for pickup through the portico or the front area. Parking is restricted on the South side (bus lanes) and under the portico (East side drive through).
Please remember to sign in any time that you visit our school. We welcome parents and encourage volunteers. We would love for you to visit. Will Rogers is a great place to learn and grow!
