Student Recognition

In 2006 - 2007

• A senior at Ardmore High School has been named as a National Merit Semi-Finalist.
• A junior at Ardmore High School was one of three students from Oklahoma, selected to attend the prestigious National Youth Leadership Conference in Washington D.C.
• Ardmore High School Girls’ Fast Pitch Softball Team received the Academic Achievement Award for 2006 with a cumulative GPA of 3.25.
• Two Ardmore High School senior softball players were named to the All Southern Conference Softball Team.
• A member of the Pride of Ardmore Band was selected as a member of the Oklahoma Centennial Band.
• The Pride of Ardmore Marching Band received a Superior Rating at the Regional 5A Band Competition held in Lawton in October.
• Six Pride of Ardmore Band members named to the Southeastern All District Honor Band

In 2005-2006

• An Ardmore High School senior was named as a Robert C. Byrd Scholar.
• Thirteen Ardmore High School Football players were awarded scholarships to play football at various colleges and universities. Four of those students received scholarships to NCAA Division I schools.
• An Ardmore Band member was selected to receive a full scholarship to the prestigious OCU School of Music.

In 2004-2005

• An Ardmore High School senior was named as one of three National Coca-Cola Scholarship winners.
