To the families of Lincoln,

     We refer to Lincoln Elementary as the place where “students think, dream, believe and achieve.” Our faculty and staff are prepared to do whatever it takes to make this motto a reality for each and every student.

     We believe that school staff working in partnership with students and parents is key to the success of each individual child and for our school. We invite you to be a part of your child’s educational experience by participating in conferences, special assemblies, working in our parent organization to enrich your child’s experience at Lincoln and above all being actively involved with your child in his or her learning experiences.

Lincoln is a Great Expectations Model School where we adhere to the G. E. eight expectations for living.
          We will value one another as unique and special individuals.
          We will not laugh or make fun of a person’s mistakes, use sarcasms or putdowns.
          We will use good manners saying please and thank you, excuse me, and let others go first.
          We will cheer each other to success.
          We will help one another whenever possible.
          We will recognize every effort and applaud it.
          We will encourage each other to do our best.
          We will practice virtuous living, using the Life Principles.

     As a staff, we believe that students, taught in a climate of mutual respect by teachers who possess a high degree of knowledge and skill will thrive. Our faculty and staff hold high expectations and believe that all children can learn.
