At Ardmore City Schools we believe that when parents are involved in their children’s education, children achieve higher grades, have better attendance and behavior, complete more homework, and demonstrate a more positive attitude toward education. We are proud of the diversity of our students and believe that building authentic, culturally-inclusive partnerships with their families is the best way to ensure their success in school and life.
We want you to be a part of your child’s school experience; there are several ways you can become involved.
- Volunteer to help your child’s teacher on field trips and with special class activities;
- Attend Parent/Teacher Conferences regularly;
- Visit the school often;
- Attend school events with your child; and
- Call your child’s teacher and/or principal when you have a question or concern.
We believe that the education of your child is a partnership between the parent, the school and the community, and that everyone in our community has a vested interest in each child’s school success. Please join us in this partnership by taking an active role in your child’s education.
