Enrichment Foundation (An Educational Endowment)
Ardmore City Schools and the citizens of Ardmore have one of the most exciting programs in education today … the Ardmore City Schools Enrichment Foundation, a cooperative program of private support for the enhancement of public education.

Established in May of 1986, this broadly based, non-profit 501(c)(3) charitable organization is exclusively educational. Its purpose is to secure and distribute contributions from individuals, corporations, and foundations to support and enhance educational programs and opportunities for the students of Ardmore City Schools.

The Enrichment Foundation is creating a positive impact on public education by providing funds for academic programs not otherwise available through traditional funding. They are guided by an independent board of trustees that operates separately from Ardmore City Schools.

In pursuit of excellence…
Ardmore is a community dedicated to quality education. By promoting excellence in education, you are investing in today’s youth … tomorrow’s leaders … and the future of our community. The Enrichment Foundation provides a way for you to make the difference in the academic opportunities available. By contributing, you are helping financially to improve the quality of education beyond what is possible with traditional funding. Your contribution is tax deductible and stays in Ardmore to benefit our children and enrich our community.

In contributing to the Foundation…
Your contribution will go into the endowment fund. The interest earned from the endowment will be expended on educational programs.
The Grants-to-Teachers Program allows teachers to submit grant proposals to the allocations committee twice a year. The committee consults with school administrators to ensure that the proposal fits district priorities and then allocates approved grants throughout the school system. These grants encourage teachers to develop new and innovative approaches to teaching or create programs to expand the curriculum.
A $1,000 scholarship to each Ardmore student designated as a National Merit Scholar, a National Merit Finalist, or an Academic All-Stater is funded through the Enrichment Foundation.

In providing academic opportunities …
Your contribution to the Foundation will enrich the curriculum through a variety of activities such as, but not limited to, materials and supplies for a unit of study, small items of equipment, supplemental materials for instruction, visiting instructors or artists, field trips, academic fairs, and other ideas to pursue excellence in the classroom.
