The school serves a diversified student body that reflects and represents the Ardmore community population ethnically and socio-economically.  Charles Evans' first through fifth grade enrollment was approximately 538 students in 2009-2010.  Projected enrollment for the 2010-2011 school year is 665 with the addition of our new students coming via the closing of the Franklin campus.

The main entrance to Charles Evans Elementary is located at 1906 Harris Street, Charles Evans and was established in the early 1950’s.  It was named in honor of one of our early well known educators.  The new building was opened in February of 2009. 

First through third grade classes attend classes in the Charles Evans Primary Center (new building) and the fourth through fifth attend classes in the Intermediate Center which are connected to each other and share P.E., music, library and cafeteria facilities.
